In accordance with the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), several aircraft fire-fighting vehicles are available for aircraft fire protection, which are adapted to the size of the aircraft regularly operating at Oberpfaffenhofen Special Airport.

In addition to aircraft fire protection, the tasks of the site fire department also include technical assistance, building fire protection and support for the public fire department.
